before you start running with your vibram shoe, you can start walking with dopie
the strap is for beginner after you get used to the sandal then you can wear it bare! whooo i am so gonna wear it bare!

first time running with vibram fivefingers bikila as shown above, was great!
no abrasion but must remember to cut yr toe nails and clearing all the dirt from your feet before wearing
feels comfortable running if correct technique (front-mid landing) is used.
today i ran abt 3km plus around yishun area.
past barefoot running/walking experience.
-dopie slipper (1week)

-onisuka tiger (2 year) i don't know if i can consider this barefoot but ya it doesn't have cushion so i will consider it as barefoot as well.

after the run i already feel some soreness on my calf, tomorrow i will know how bad it is.

Finally i have completed the biathlon
so much gan chu..

first is the swimming part... sway sway our turn swim the rain gt bigger.. and we r already soaking wet b4 we get into the water..
so raining = big current
gan gan hao wo hui seasick damn..
then i starting swim freestyle too fast kana infront de ppl
too slow kana behind de ppl
so many ppl wan freestyle also hard
then this is my first time although i have heard ppl saying 10 - 15 stroke have a look at where you are .. see if u r off the track.. but i didnt.. and guess wat! when i look up i was out of the track.. and i have to swim back .. @@ << freestyle hai de
when i was on my way back this is the most difficult part as the current got stronger and i feel more giddy.. feel like vomiting liao... struggle all the way back..
this is the worst part man!
keep on telling myself that i can do this !!!
i must not give up !!!
after the swim it will be easy its running come on gogogo!
even though i was nt exhausted i couldnt do a shit cos if i swim freestyle i confirm will vomit
because the current is coming from the side...
finally i got out of water i tot it was over
but the giddy part came...
i really was trying nt to vomit cause i scare the marshal will ask mi to stop the event..
everyone there was like chionging and i am like standing there resting.. sian diao
finally i got better.. i change my shoe and started running...
looking everywhere for the water station because the sea water is damn salty
the moment i started running.. GG the latic acid came.. i can feel it!
damn fuggies hard to run.. but after a while okay liao.. shen lehs~ LOL~ or numb liao dunno LOL~
then i keep on cut ppl songbo! see those lao jiao run lose mi jitao is motivated LOL~~
until the last 2km!
my leg started to get tense.. i noe cham liao going to cramp liao i slow down and walk..
then AGAIN gt ppl ask mi come on run abit more this time is a uncle ~
then i jog with him.. and started chatting hahahahaha then it all get better << super recovery mi
then i sprint for the last 500m! and cut 4 fuggies kia aww sprint lose mi LOL~ owns!

after this race i found out that my core are actually quite weak and my legs! and most imptly SWIMMING! damn!
i shall work extra hard! SINGAPORE BIATHLON 2010 here i come! see u next year!

Yesterday when sentosa with rui zhi, jon, nic, jl, fred, wj and roger.

update of what happen recently..

my ah gong just passed away ..
i was there when he passed away.. i saw how advance medicine and machines now are..
there are actually machine to help my ah gong to breathe in and out..
then at 8 pm plus my ah gong suddenly have some problem.. and we ask the nurse whats wrong she say everything is fine.. << (all the nurse like to lie.. when its actually not fine! she say is okay)
then she gave my ah gong some injection to make him feel better..
but after a while.. the condition gt worst...
then the doctor came.. he gave a injection to my ah gong.. and told us..
this injection will some sort of make his heart beat stronger.. but if the medicine have no effect on ur ah gong then.. we will just have to let him go .. peacefully

then we called everyone down.. and sadly ah gong didnt make it..
in my opinion i think he passed away long ago just tat the medication and the device is keeping him alive..(the doctor also said if .. we off the device ur ah gong will go peacefully already)
looking at the faint heartbeat.. calling his name.. see-ing if he will react to our call.. and nothing happen.. we know this was it.. everything has ended.. but we still have to wait for my ah gong daughter to come..

my aunt came at around 9 ..
this is so unforgettable.. even though i knew my ah gong was dead.. with that weak heart beat .. we still hoping that he could open his eyes and look at us for the last time.. my aunt keep on saying ni kai kai yan jing kan kan wo men, wo men dou lai le.. but i dare not tell her, actually the heartbeat is the effect of the medication.. and after a while we have to let him go peacefully and the doctor came in to explain to my aunt and everyone there then he off the device..

everything just happen so suddenly.. when i reach there at 7 .. everything was normal.. after a while.. jiu .. .. ..
some more he is going to discharge soon.. next monday.. then at 4 am of wed morning.. he gt a heart attack.. a big one .. and gt transfered to icu...

Some Facts About Raw Milk
by Sally Fallon
During the 1920s and early 1930s, several studies were carried out that compared the effects of raw versus pasteurized milk in children. In one study, 224 children at the Boston Dispensary were fed either raw certified milk or grade A pasteurized milk (Archives of Pediatrics, 1926). Those fed raw milk were healthier than those fed pasteurized milk, even when the pasteurized milk was supplemented with cod liver oil. In a comparison of two groups of over 100 babies, those fed pasteurized milk had lower weight grain, more rickets and diarrhea and a greater mortality than those fed raw milk (Archives of Pediatrics, 1929). And in a study of school children in Scotland, those given raw milk had better growth than those fed pasteurized milk (Nature, 4/18/31).
In a number of studies involving rats over several generations, researchers Scott and Erf documented normal growth, good health and gentle disposition in rats fed an exclusive raw milk diet; rats fed pasteurized milk were anemic, had slow growth, rough coats, loss of vitality and weight, and were very irritable, often showing a tendency to bite when handled (Jersey Bulletin 1931 Vol 50).
In studies carried out between 1935-1940, researchers documented normal growth and excellent bone density in rats fed raw milk; rats fed pasteurized milk had slow growth, bald patches due to vitamin B6 deficiency, compromised integrity of internal organs and much lower bone density (Annals of Randleigh Farm).
In studies of Guinea pigs carried out by Wulzen and Bahr, animals fed whole raw milk had excellent growth and no abnormalities; those fed whole pasteurized milk had poor growth, muscle stiffness, emaciation and weakness and death within one year. Autopsy of pasteurized-milk fed animals revealed atrophied muscles streaked with calcification and tricalcium deposits under the skin and in the joints, heart and other organs (American Journal of Physiology, 1941).
According to statistics posted at the US government’s Centers for Disease Control website, those consuming raw milk are 2.5 times less likely to contract food borne illness than those consuming pasteurized milk and 3.5 times less likely to contract food borne illness from consuming other foods.
Raw milk contains numerous components that kill bad bacteria and strengthen the immune system. In the infant, these components provide immunity for life to any pathogen to which the baby is exposed. These components are mostly destroyed, or greatly reduced, by pasteurization.
Since 1999, Organic Pastures Dairy in California has sold 40 million servings of raw milk and raw milk products, without one reported illness; during the same period, there have been at least 20 recalls of pasteurized milk products in California. The most occurred in May, 2006, when 1,300 inmates at 11 state prisons contracted gastroenteritis from campylobacter in half-pint cartons of pasteurized milk
